A New B and B Entering the Wedding Market!

Copperstone Inn, located at 6702 Yale Bridge Road in Rockton, IL has entered the wedding market offering space for ceremonies and receptions.  It is also a great place for bridal showers and rehearsal dinners as well.  The inn was originally built in 1858 and in 2005 they started a 2 1/2 year renovation that finished with the beautiful inn they have today.  To find out more information on their offerings for weddings go to their website or call their Event Coordinator, Jennifer Weldon at 629-9999.  Let them know you found them on my blog.

Under The Tent

Ladies, if you are having an outdoor wedding make sure you have a tent as a backup.  Nature does not care that it is your special day.  Let the professionals at Berg Industries, Inc. take care of you.  Tent rentals include:  installation and removal of tent, (sidewalls are always included in your rental - except canopy tops.  Tents will be installed Thursday or Friday before your event and removed on the following Monday.  There is no delivery charge in the Rockford area.  Delivery is available outside of Rockford for an additional charge.  They have smaller and larger tents available to accommodate your party - regardless of size.  Call for prices:  874-1588.  Be sure and tell them you found them on my blog.

An Intimate Wedding

  Hello ladies; i wanted to tell you about a new vendor that i discovered.  A B and B in Oregon that would like to expand into offering weddings.  On Holden Pond was established in 1998.  They have 15 acres that overlook a pond, which would be perfect for an outdoor wedding!  They also offer a fireplace and a two level deck with a hot tub.   They are also close to tourist attactions and shopping.  If you would like more information call 946-9100 or go to their website.

More Vendors You Should Know

  Our first spotlight will be on Pinehill Inn.  The Inn was built in 1874, located in Oregon.  Mr. & Mrs. Williams invite you to have your wedding and reception at their beautiful inn.  They have a 40 X 60 high peak Euro tent that will fit 200 people.  You can use your caterer or theirs with your wedding package.  Just call (800)851-0131.

 

Our second spotlight will be on Event Floral.  Deb Quillen, owner has worked with over 2,000 brides and has a great reputation for providing superior quality and service.  They offer delivery, setup and re-delivery to your reception venue.  And having worked with them I can say they will go they extra mile to make your floral wishes come true.  Just call 885-3900.

Our third spotlight is onMidway Village and Museum Center.  They several areas to have your wedding and reception and the staff is wonderful.  Make sure you talk to Fran when you call.  Location one is the Community Church, which was built in 1883 and can seat 90 comfortably.  One warning about the church, there is no air conditioning.  Location two is the Chamberlain Hotel, which was built in 1860 and can seat 40, just right for a bridal shower.  Location three is the Gazebo, which is ideal for an outdoor wedding ceremony and you can seat as many as you like. And the Fourth and last location is The Lakeview Room which can seat 250.
