Ryan O'Neal and longtime love Farrah Fawcett are finally getting married.

"I've asked her to marry me, again, and she's agreed," O'Neal, 68, tells Barbara Walters in an exclusive interview on ABC's "20/20."

O'Neal says the couple, who have been together since 1980, "will" wed "as soon as she can, say yes ... Maybe we can just nod her head."  "I promise you, we will," he told Walters.  "Absolutely."

The wedding is sure to be a high point in Fawcett's three-year battle with anal cancer that has left the actress, 62, now "fighting for her life."

As for the couple's attire during the wedding ceremony, O'Neal says he and Fawcett have joked that he'll dress "like a gigolo.  You know?  And a little thin mustache and slicked-back hair.  I don't know.  We have fun, we tease about that."  "I used to ask her to marry me all the time," O'Neal tells Walters in the interview to air on Friday.  "But ... it just got to be a joke, you know.  We just joked about it."

The couple has a 24-year-old son, Redmond, who is currently in rehab following previous drug convictions.

Update:  On Thursday, June 25, 2009, Farrah Fawcett, 62 passed away.  Ryan O'Neal was by her side.

Madonna and Jesus Luz to "Marry" in Kabbalah Ceremony

Madonna and Jesus Luz are getting married.

The Brazilian model's father Luis Heitor Pinto da Luz has revealed the couple are planning a Kabbalah ceremony to have their union recognized by the mystical Jewish faith followed by the 50-year-old singer.

However, their union will not be legally binding.

Luis Luz said, "The Kabbalah ceremony in New York that will link up my son Jesus Luz and Madonna only confirms that he is extremely happy.  I don't know if there will, in fact be a real marriage between Madonna and my son.  It will be a type of ritual, but I do not know Kabbalah or if the ceremony will have legal validity."

Luis Luz - who confirmed the couple are living together in New York - revealed his 22-year-old son has bonded well with the star's three children, Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight and David, three.

He told Brazil's Quem magazine:  "She has small children and Jesus helps her out with various tasks involving all of them.  He plays ball with the kids.  Jesus has charisma and loves children."

Despite the 28-year age gap between Madonna and Jesus Luz, Luis Luz insists he approves of their relationship.

He said, "I've spoken by phone with Madonna - in French, because my English is not fluent - and she appears to me to be a normal and polite person.  She is feminine.  I don't feel she is a harsh person."

Madonna announced last October she was divorcing British film director Guy Ritchie after almost eight years of marriage.

Amy Adams, Enchanted star is determined to keep her upcoming wedding as low-key as possible; she wants to elope with fiance' Darren Le Gallo and wed in secret. 

The couple became engaged summer 2008 after Le Gallo proposed during a night in New York.  And although they haven't set a date for the wedding, Adams, 34, insists she won't be throwing a star-studded party to celebrate her nuptials.  She say's, "After Enchanted the idea of being in a big, white dress is not as exciting as one would think.  I have a feeling that one day we will wake up and decide to get married and we'll just go off and do it.  Actually i would like a wedding that was just over.  Isn't that unromantic? 

"There is so much emphasis on having the perfect wedding and I think that's great if it's something you have fantasized about your whole life, but that's never been my fantasy."

Cher Engaged To A Hell's Angel?

Cher has done it again, she's engaged to a Hell's Angel.  Cher, age 62 has gotten engaged to Tim Medvetz, age 36.  Too bad there is no picture of him yet, i would like to see what he looks like.  There are no confirmed reports that the wedding has already taken place.  But there is speculation, that if the deed has not been done yet, that it may happen in August when Cher returns for a concert in Las Vegas.  If she does get married i hope she is smart enough to get a pre-nup.  I am as romantic as can be ladies, but when it comes to guys marrying older, wealthier women it pays to be careful.  If the rumours are true i wish her all the happiness in the world.                                                       

An Engagement

It's another Hollywood engagement.  This time it is Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds.  Johansson 23, and Reynolds, 31, have been dating since 2007.

Reynolds was previously engaged to Alanis Morissette.   Reynolds and Morissette broke up in February 2007 after four years together.  Johansson was previously dating Josh Hartnett whom she met on the set of "30 Days of Night".

Hollywood Weddings

I don't know what it is about Hollywood weddings.  They kinda creep me out.  Don't get me wrong, i love it when people get married.  And i have to say, i love their perseverance.  But it always seems kind of fake when they do.  Here is a new one:  Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon.  They tied the knot and they only knew each other for 1 month!  Go here Holly Scoop
